Decarbonized and Reliable Power For Data Centers

09-27-2023 11:31

Session Abstract

Data Center (DC) reliability is of strategic importance to the function of crucial infrastructure. Power requirements for DC include fast start-up time, availability, scalability, cost-efficiency, decarbonization and power density.  One way of meeting these challenges can be solved through on-site power generation (PG) of electricity and cooling with highly efficient gas turbine technology that keeps the DC running reliably and ensures they remain operational under all conditions. This presentation will provide valuable insights into: •The megatrends and challenges for on-site and back-up PG for DC •Gas turbine technology and data center PG design  •How gas turbines can support making data centers reliable and future proof
