While expanding the Oakland Campus, The University of Pittsburgh is undergoing a chilled water system overhaul. This program replaces aging infrastructure and shifts load from distribution loop to another, adds a new chilled water plant to support the addition of new buildings and. This program that also includes a plant renovation will improve efficiency and operation of the system while adding resiliency and will help the campus meet its aggressive energy and water conservation goals.
