Seizing the Opportunity – Leveraging Chiller Replacements to Drive towards Carbon Neutrality

09-19-2023 10:21

Session Abstract

Facing end of life replacements across their chiller fleet, the Amgen Thousand Oaks facility elected to leverage the opportunity to aggressively reduce the site carbon footprint and work towards their overall corporate sustainability goal of neutrality by 2027.  Through a strategic chiller selection process, optimization-ready design, and a multi-phased construction program; the site is poised to completely renew their system while realizing a 40% reduction in total equivalent warming impact (TEWI)
