Over the past two decades, more and more district energy systems have installed large scale hot water generation and distribution systems in lieu of steam. Once considered impractical for large heating districts, new innovations have continued to improve the efficiency, reliability, sustainability and maintainability of district hot water solutions while driving down the total cost of operation. This presentation will summarize the reasons why it should be considered for all new planning and design projects.
