“Thermal Energy Storage (TES) – 10 Years Later” tells the story of Thermal Energy Corporation’s (TECO’s) decision to install TES and the lessons learned over 10 years of operation. The presentation will discuss the decision to apply TES technology, selection of the type of TES technology, design of the TES system, construction, and operations. Specific attention will be given to examining the decisions made to install TES and performance expectations to what TECO has actually experienced. TECO will provide a specific list of decisions it would not change and decisions it would look at differently now.
