Thermal Energy Storage (TES) tanks provide valuable financial benefits for Universities with district cooling systems, but each project has different challenges. This presentation will examine the Case Studies of three TES tank projects at Universities and summarize the significant benefits along with the unique challenges for each. Attendees will have opportunity to learn about TES tanks and breadth of benefits while understanding how the owners, engineers, and tank builders overcame the project challenges.
