IDEA member Veolia is teaming up with the Boston chapter of Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) to host an event at their Kendall Cogeneration Station in Cambridge, MA on July 25th. This is the latest event in YPE’s Industry Insights series and it features a tour of Veolia’s CHP plant. The tour will give young energy professionals the opportunity to see first-hand how Veolia produces clean and efficient energy that is used to heat and power buildings in Boston and Cambridge and to learn more about CHP technology.

District heating and CHP systems, like the one in Boston and Cambridge, provide a reliable, economical, efficient, and environmentally sound source of energy to cities, campus and hospitals around the world. Finding ways to attract the next generation of energy leaders to the district energy industry will allow us to continue working towards a cleaner and more efficient energy future.
