10-29-2018 17:21

Summary

The International Institute for Peace and Sustainable Development (IIPSD) is a specialty university campus being developed in Malaysia that will focus on an energy and environmental sustainability curriculum. The IIPSD will be carbon-negative and constructed using state-of-the-art green building, energy efficiency and renewable energy technology all of which will be connected, monitored and managed through a wireless mesh microgrid that will manage energy, heat, and water use to optimize performance while minimizing GHG emissions.  We will explore the reasons behind the decision to structure the IIPSD as a microgrid and the unique way it’s being developed and financed.
