10-29-2018 14:48

Summary

In September 2014, Black & Veatch celebrated the opening of an addition to their World Headquarters (WHQ), called the Rodman Innovation Pavilion, and part of the addition was the design, procurement, building, and operation of the WHQ microgrid. The microgrid was designed as a research platform for multiple distributed-generation technologies and their smart integration, operation, and dispatch. This presentation focuses on explaining the learnings from project execution and on the testing and data collection from the microgrid as a living laboratory. This presentation will provide an Insider’s view of microgrid engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and best practices.
