Summary

UVa and HGA presented to the 2015 IDEA Campus Energy Conference highlighting innovative design changes under construction for the North Grounds Mechanical Plant including: combining an open Cooling Tower system with a closed loop heating HW system on heat recovery chillers, transitioning a MTHW system operating at 240 degrees F to a LTHW and abandoning the Heat Recovery Chiller packaged control systems in favor of a, customized approach.
