Summary

This presentation will address issues encountered while replacing refrigeration equipment for an ice storage system designed to serve the Baltimore Convention Center and portions of the Baltimore downtown chilled water loop. The discussion will include designing the plant in an existing, congested space that required modifications to the building and structure without significantly impacting the skyline. Discussion will also include the coordination and construction in a densely populated urban area with limited downtime.
