Small size and emissions of CHP requires reduced air permitting efforts by avoiding major review encumbrances. Proactively incorporating the players involved, design requirements, space limitations, and operational needs have always been keys to a successful permitting process; but even more so now with CHP because of new players involved and a smaller margin for error. This presentation will lay out elements of a successful process. Experiences at the BYU Heating Plant will be covered.
