08-14-2017 14:21

Summary

This presentation will review the design and construction of a new CHP plant and utility distribution system improvements for a Naval Support Facility. The driver for this project was to replace the Navy’s last remaining coal fired steam plant. The new system reduces energy consumption, decreases utility costs, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improves the reliability of the electrical and steam distribution infrastructure to satisfy the current and future needs of supported commands.
