Summary

We will review the challenges discovered throughout the commissioning process for 15MW, 13kV microgrid Wiley|Wilson designed for a Navy base at Indian Head Maryland. We will share protection and automation techniques that were used, modified, and adjusted for this system. We will also share event data demonstrating the problems that arose during initial operations and our methods for achieving successful operation of this microgrid.
