Summary

High penetration of intermittent renewable power is creating new challenges in the Western Electricity Grid, as well as large and unique opportunities for district energy. Distributed, dispatch-able resources, including co-generation, have value in a growing market where flexible capacity in high demand and where spot prices are trending negative. This presentation details new strategy for grid integration with district energy.
