Summary

Campuses are ideal applications of CHP, but the recent cost declines for storage and solar make the design decision more complicated. This presentation will demonstrate the impact of factors, such as demand rates, resiliency requirements, sustainability and carbon reduction goals, seasonality of the thermal and electric load, and storage prices that affect the least cost design. These results will be derived from the thousands of analyses that have been conducted with the HOMER software all over the world.
