Summary

DK Energy US is expanding by drawing on the global experience of its parent, Electricite de France (Groupe EDF), which has developed and operated district energy/CCHP and CHP solutions around the world. DK's strategy in the US is to grow through acquisition of energy efficiency, CHP and district energy companies and projects. Three French examples relevant for US development are Purpan Univ Hospital (biomass); Clergy-Pontoise(power/thermal for 200,000 households); and Res-orange eco-district (biomass/geothermal).
