Combined heat and power projects take years to fully develop, fund, design, construct and start-up. Bridging the gap between construction and commercial operation requires more than just commissioning. Experienced start-up leadership during final construction, equipment energization and process coordination are vital to creating a successful operating facility that delivers the promised performance. This presentation offers lessons learned and recommendations for how to successfully start up, commission and turn over an operating CHP facility.
