Summary

DCO Energy LLC (DCO) owns and operates a District Energy System serving the Montclair State University Campus (MSU).  The system include a 6 MW CHCP Facility. DCO and MSU are embarking on the addition of a Microgrid project, adding 5 MW of peak shaving and backup generation with a fully integrated Load Management system to control, monitoring and manage electric demand and usage. The system through the use of state of the art Dashboards and Data Management will provide MSU the ability to lower energy cost as well as provide year round power during any loss of grid event.
