Summary

The major changes taking place in today’s energy market and focus on distributed generation are driving some innovative business models to implement CHP plants and microgrids. Examples include utility ownership, energy savings contracts, and development funding. Distributed generation is also getting utilized in new applications such as block-chains in Brooklyn and Global Adjustment Busters in Canada. This session will cover examples of these new business models and applications as well as lessons learned.
