The Hidden Variable: The True Cost of Air in Hydronic Systems

06-16-2017 10:32

Summary

The presentation will address the negative effects of air on the performance, efficiency, and total cost of ownership of hydronic heating and cooling systems. Discussion will include case studies documenting how effectively removing air from chilled water and heating hot water systems results in increased system Delta T’s, increased chiller plant output, reduced pump speed/energy usage, reduced gas usage, lengthened equipment life, reduced chemical treatment costs, and reduced overall system life cycle costs.
