Summary

Texas requires higher-ed to maintain a written DRP that addresses critical infrastructure resources to minimize impact and allow institutions to quickly resume mission-critical functions. Processes and techniques used in developing the plan are described as well as risk mitigating elements used. The DRP is comprised of documents, resources, and procedures to be used in the event of disaster at UT’s DES, it has helped UEM department to identify responses in case of a disaster.
