Technical/Industry Associate or Analyst

  • Lead the investigation and reporting on member system efficiency and best practices including technical and economic evaluations.
  • As required, perform engineering or environmental performance analyses to support policy development and advocacy; inform regulatory agencies, etc
  • Leverage research activities to support advocacy for the district energy industry with global, federal, state and local governments and agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGO’s).
  • Serve as principal author of reports or white papers or educational materials
  • Research energy data, facts, and project locations for communications projects. Support drafting, designing, posting, and amplifying social media.  Support development of press statements, policy advocacy letters and summaries.
  • Form a strong understanding of organizational policy priorities, communications strategies, and brand to ensure that all external products remain on message.
  • Support development of conference technical programs.
  • Participate in regular coalition calls and membership forums related to policy and communications
  • Support and manage new incoming information or data requests or analyses as needed
