Lusail City District Cooling, a project by IDEA member Marafeq, has won the award for the highly energy efficient district at the 2017 Global District Energy Climate Awards ceremony, held at the International District Cooling and Heating Conference held yesterday in Doha.
The awards were announced yesterday and the finalists were selected from cities and communities across the globe which demonstrate local district energy leadership in providing clean and sustainable energy solutions.
