Primary school students in Glasgow, Scotland have joined in a district heating project by planting replacement trees during construction work.

The students from St Mungo’s Primary planted 21 fruit trees as part of works to install a heat pipe network for the University of Strathclyde’s £20m ($27m) combined heat and power (CHP)-based district heating system.
