Summary
The municipalities of Pullach and Grünwald in the south of Munich, already have successful geothermal plants that supply both communities with district heating. Together with the Munich municipal utilities, they now want to once again look for hot water in the depths, as reported by local radio station BR24.
Now seismic vibrator trucks are on the move in an area of about 80 square kilomoters between Schäftlarn and Straßlach-Dingharting. Through the vibrating trucks, the underground is examined with sound waves, so as to obtain a three-dimensional image of the ground.
