Summary

A Joint Venture by Züblin Ground Engineering and Huisman Equipment reports having successfully completed a geothermal doublet with a turnkey solution in the Netherlands.

In Bergschenhoek north of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Wayland Energy is currently developing several concessions in order to produce thermal water for heat production purposes. Warmtebedrijf Bergschenhoek B.V. a subsidiary of Wayland Energy is utilizing the geothermal energy to heat greenhouses situated in the Lansingerland region and contracted the Joint Venture Züblin Ground Engineering and Huisman Equipment for drilling and completion of a geothermal doublet as a turnkey project with lump sum contract.
