Summary
The 2018 ASHRAE Annual Conference technical program will offer educational tracks on design and performance optimization for buildings.
A new track at this year’s conference, “Residential – Modern Building in Hot and Humid Climates,” will discuss integration of modern residential design and building practices into hot and/or humid climates with specific challenges, such as indoor comfort, ventilation and mold.
Another design track, “District Energy and Cogeneration Plants,” will discuss the role of combined resources to minimize carbon footprint. This track takes a look at the advantages, limitations and best practices of utilizing this type of shared system.
