A project on Villanova University's campus to reduce the school's energy usage is getting funding boost, according to an announcement from Gov. Tom Wolf's office.
Wolf's office announced nine new project approvals through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), that will benefit Pennsylvania residents and businesses through promoting energy efficiency and building out infrastructure to bring abundant energy to homes and commercial buildings.
LCP Generation Partners was approved for a $965,000 grant through the Alternative and Clean Energy program for the purchase and installation of a 2,000 kilowatt combined heat and power system on the school's campus, according to Wolf's office.
