Qatar Cool will provide district cooling in seven Doha Metro stations.

Qatar Cool has announced that it has started work on the Qatar Rail project in line a contract signed between the two parties.
The co-operation between Qatar Rail and Qatar Cool commenced in 2015, with the contract comprising the provision of district cooling in seven stations spanning from The Pearl-Qatar to West Bay - Legtaifiya, Katara, Al Qassar, Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, West Bay, Corniche and Al Bidda stations, Qatar Cool said in a press statement on Wednesday.
Yasser al-Jaidah, CEO of Qatar Cool, said: “Qatar Cool’s foremost emphasis is on providing a sustainable energy solution to the country to support future infrastructure. The implementation of district cooling in projects such as the railway network solidifies our commitment to the environment and society.
