A range of energy efficiency measures can be included for participants in a new sustainable energy loan program that [Oneida County, New York] is establishing, according to a Board of Legislators announcement.
Among the potential measures are lighting, insulation and air sealing, heating and cooling systems, smart controls, energy storage and combined heat and power, as well as renewable energy installations such as solar photovoltaic, wind, biomass and geothermal.
The program will allow eligible commercial, industrial, agricultural, non-profit and residential property owners to obtain Energize NY Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that is repaid through a charge on the property’s tax bill.
