In a release shared this week, Marco Baresi – Institutional Affairs & Marketing Director for Turboden SpA, as well as Vice President of the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) representing over 120 operators in the industrial, academic and utility world, presents the company’s point of view, in a press conference on “Zero-emission geothermal energy: Italy, world leader in the production of binary cycle systems and total re-injection”.
The focus is on the domestic market where, to date, ORC geothermal binary systems have not yet been built, despite the high potential and the announcements by governing bodies made several times regarding a long-term policy development and which sees the Emanating Decree FER2 as a very important tool to allow the domestic development of the zero emission geothermal source and relative industrial supply chain.
