Slovenian energy Petrol has signed a memorandum with T Plus Group, Russia’s largest privately-owned heat and power company, to take part in projects to optimize district heating in the regions where T Plus is present, marking the Slovenian company’s entry to the Russian market, according to a press release on Petrol’s website.
The first joint project between Petrol and the Russian partner will be to optimize the production and consumption of heat in the district heating system in the city of Izhevsk, Petrol said in the press release. As part of its cooperation with T Plus, Petrol has agreed to work with Schneider Electric (SE) Russia on a project aimed at optimizing and increasing the operational efficiency of the district heating system in Yekaterinburg, one of the cities where T Plus operates.
