Clearway Community Energy is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Schneider to General Manager of its Pittsburgh district energy systems. Mark has nearly ten years of engineering and management experience and has led essential projects in Pittsburgh, such as the distribution interconnection project connecting Clearway's Uptown and Duquesne University systems. Recently, Mark has developed design, construction, and logistics to extend the distribution pipe from the Uptown and Duquesne systems to 12 existing buildings in downtown Pittsburgh. In his new role, Mark will oversee operations, sales, and engineering for Clearway’s three district energy systems in Pittsburgh. He will lead the team in their efforts to provide sustainable heating, cooling, and electricity to hospitals, universities, residential developments, ballparks, museums, and libraries in the city.
