Summary
More buildings in Singapore will soon get to tap into the world's largest underground cooling network. Five more buildings near Marina Bay will be plugged into the system that uses chilled water for air-conditioning. Currently, a district cooling system pumps chilled water to 23 buildings around Marina Bay. SP Group said the network can help buildings cut carbon emissions by more than 19,000 tonnes per year. The government is also moving ahead to install a similar system at Jurong Lake District.
