Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum unveils Empower’s new Za’abeel plant model and reviews the company’s latest developments

Za’abeel District Cooling Plant, developed in the Za’abeel area by Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, captured the attention of the participants and visitors of WETEX 2022, which was kicked off yesterday at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and with the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE). During his tour of the exhibition halls, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum unveiled the new Za’abeel district cooling plant model at Empower stand.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of  Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), were briefed by Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, on the model and the operation of the new plant.
