Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, announced the completion of all operations for connecting the Dubai Maritime City’s iconic tower ‘ANWA’, to the district cooling network.
ANWA will be connected to Empower’s Dubai Maritime district cooling plant with a total cooling capacity of 1,260 refrigeration tons (RT).
ANWA, an architectural masterpiece developed by Omniyat Group, is the first and tallest tower in this important area, offers stunning views of the Arabian Gulf waters and comprises 44 floors, housing 229 luxurious apartments and multiple retail outlets.
The connection work of ANWA Tower to Empower’s district cooling network was kicked off on the eve of the signing of an agreement between Empower and Dubai Maritime City (DMC) in February to supply more than 43 buildings in the City with environmentally-friendly district cooling services, for a cooling capacity of more than 63,000 RT.
