The government has this week announced more than £13.2m has been awarded to 24 heat network projects across England, which will allow operators to undertake upgrades that should result in lower bills and emissions for households and businesses.
Twenty-four projects are set to undertake upgrade work that should result in lower bills for over 4,000 homes, while a further £667,000 has been awarded to allow 31 projects to fund investigations into whether improvements are needed.
