Serbia’s government said on Tuesday that it signed a 16 million euro ($17 million) deal with municipal company Beogradske Elektrane and engineering company Energotehnika – Juzna Backa for the rehabilitation and modernisation of the Cerak heating plant in Belgrade.
The deal was signed as part of the fifth phase of the district heating system rehabilitation project in Serbia, which is being implemented in cooperation with the energy ministry and German development bank KfW, the government said in a press release.
