Polska Grupa Biogazowa (PGB), a member of TotalEnergies since March 2023, has commenced the construction of its 19th biogas plant in Półwieś, Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship in Poland.
A foundation stone-laying ceromony was held on 7 December to celebrate the beginning of this investment.
The combined heat and power (CHP) unit, which is planned to be commissioned in Q4 2024, will have a 1-megawatt (MW) capacity, adding a further supply of renewable energy to the country’s power grid, reinforcing PGB's position as a key player in Poland's biogas industry, according to TotalEnergies.
