Summary
U.S. OEM Evapco has announced it will expand its headquarters in Taneytown, Maryland, adding an additional 45,000ft2 (4,180m2) of office space, which it said will lead to the creation of 275 new jobs, bringing its headcount in the city to more than 840 people.
Evapco produces industrial ammonia (R717) and CO2 (R744) systems and components, including a packaged low-charge ammonia mega-split refrigeration system it calls the first of its type.
Growing its presence: A press release issued by Maryland Governor Wes Moore’s office noted that this is the second time in the past decade that Evapco has expanded its operations in Taneytown.
