The call was issued in a statement that emphasises the association’s willingness to engage in constructive dialogue with the new European Commission to advance net zero ambitions.
COGEN Europe’s managing director, Hans Korteweg, remarked in a statement: “COGEN Europe, as the voice of Europe’s cogeneration sector, is ready to engage with the incoming European Commission and provide constructive input to important discussions, including those on the Clean Industrial Deal and on how to decarbonise Europe’s energy sector in the context of the EU’s climate and energy targets for 2030 and 2040.”
