All of the winners were honoured at a ceremony at the London Hilton Metropole that was held in association with headline sponsor Ashworth. The announcements followed on from this year’s face-to-face judging process that saw all shortlisted finalists discussing their entries and answering questions from industry experts.
In terms of technology developments in the industry, the commercial HVAC Product of the Year for Heat Pump Innovation was awarded to Solid Energy for a substation booster water heat pump designed for district heating systems.
Judges praised the technology for improving accessibility to larger-scale and city-wide district heating schemes for a range of building types.
