The university held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to celebrate the completion of the Central Utility Plant project, a 33-year public-private partnership that school officials say will guarantee energy savings and a reduction in natural gas usage.
Fresno State says the project will modernize the campus’ Central Utility Plant with infrastructure improvements that target the campus’ energy management systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning controls, and hot and cold water distribution network.
