The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a programme for high-efficiency cogeneration from biomass-to-biogas projects in Poland.
The initiative will have a budget of €238 million from the EU Modernisation Fund, Polish National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
With a particular focus on waste biomass, the funding is designed to accelerate the production of electricity and heat in high efficiency cogeneration.
