Empower's statement coincided with the 24th edition of the Airport Show 2025, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where the company’s role as the sole and primary district cooling services provider for Dubai International Airport was highlighted. The acquisition of the airport’s district cooling assets were completed by Empower in 2023 for a total value of AED 1.1 billion, which included five cooling plants and the rights to operate them. Empower emphasized the importance of its energy-efficient solutions and advanced technologies in supporting one of the world’s busiest airports by supplying cooling for a total capacity up to 110,000 refrigeration tons (RT).
