The Montenegrin government said it has opened a new tender for stages two and three of the project for the construction of a district heating system in the northern city of Pljevlja, home to the country's sole thermal power plant, TE Pljevlja.
The first stage of the project, for the construction of a 2.3 km hot water pipeline, was launched in late July 2024. The district heating project requires an overall 6.3 km of pipelines.
