Technology provider Valmet has been selected to deliver a biomass-fired boiler and advanced flue gas treatment system to Swedish utility Kraftringen Energi for its new combined heat and power (CHP) facility in Örtofta, Skåne.
The project represents the largest energy production investment in the region in over a decade and will play a crucial role in securing reliable district heating and electricity supply across central and western Skåne.
