Summary
TRACK equipment supplier Goldschmidt is to modernise and expand its Swedish headquarters at Osby in the south of the country, including construction of a new 1700m² vehicle assembly hall. Over the next two and a half years existing production halls will be refurbished to improve capacity, efficiency, and working conditions. The amount invested has not been disclosed.
The first phase of the project involves construction of the new hall by Rickardsson Bygg which is due for completion by the end of next year.
The expansion project focuses strongly on sustainability by making energy-efficient upgrades, including new windows, improved insulation, and connection to the local district heating network, to significantly reduce the site’s carbon footprint.
