Westborough-based energy infrastructure firm NORESCO has secured the energy-upgrade subcontract for the $104-million upgrade of a Federal Bureau of Investigation complex in Virginia.
Working as a subcontractor for Virginia-based Dominion Energy, NORESCO will upgrade a chiller plant and modernize on-site backup power generation at the FBI Quantico Complex in Prince William County, Virginia, according to a March 11 press release from NORESCO.
“NORESCO is proud to support Dominion Energy and FBI’s efforts to improve energy resilience by leveraging utility energy service contracting,” Doug Sattler, senior vice president, federal, NORESCO, said in the press release. “This project at the FBI Quantico Complex will significantly enhance reliability, improve system efficiency, and reduce energy consumption in support of the FBI’s mission.”
